This blog showcases some of the best academic and creative work by Year 1 students on the University of Kent’s Early Drama module. On this course, students encounter English drama from the Latin liturgical performances of the early medieval period to the opening of the playhouses in the late sixteenth century. Explore the site and see how these past performances, their themes, forms and devices inspire our students today.

On the site, you’ll find research essays, but also films, pamphlets, sketches, musical scores, new morality plays and interludes, and even some stained glass!
