EED&PN - A6 Flyer -2018 FINAL (medium res)

Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at the University of Sheffield

For the third year running, the Early English Drama & Performance Network (EED&PN) will host a postgraduate and early career symposium. During the course of the day the participants will partake in sessions that cover topics specifically tailored for doctoral and early-career researchers in medieval and early modern drama.

Session topics will include, for example, research and public engagement, practice-based research, possibilities of Digital Humanities, and a hands-on workshop on palaeography and manuscript studies. Scholars, researchers, and professionals who have successfully researched, produced, and taught early drama will lead the sessions. The symposium will conclude with an open space session that will allow participants to continue to discuss the day’s topics and the future of the field.

Confirmed speakers:
Michael Pidd (University of Sheffield), Toni Price (University of Sheffield), Kia Macpherson (Hull Noah Play Project), Stuart Palmer (University of Kent), and Olivia Robinson (University of Fribourg).
