The annual Postgraduate and Early Career Symposium is an interdisciplinary event that seeks to equip postgraduate students and early career researchers who work in the field of early drama with the professional skills necessary to succeed as researchers and teachers in academia and within the wider employment context. The symposium calls on scholars and individuals who have successfully researched, produced, and taught early drama to share their knowledge with the delegates. The sessions range from practice-as-research seminars, grant funding workshops, advice on research outputs, pedagogical approaches to early drama, as well as exploring dramatic records in the archive. The symposium is held on the day before the annual Medieval English Theatre Society meeting which provides an opportunity for further networking between postgraduates and early career researchers with established scholars.
The 2017 Symposium will be held at the University of Glasgow and the provisional programme and registration details can be found here.
We will be updating this page with information about future Symposia when the details are available.
